Description

Tallow soaps are hard, long lasting, creamy soaps. Organic turmeric is infused in the oils then added to the bar, an ingredient meant to lighten dark spots on the skin over time. We do not guarantee this result, but one study showed that hyperpigmentation was improved by 14% in as little as 4 weeks with the use of turmeric extract. The addition of lemon peel is meant to further reduce hyperpigmentation by adding citric acid and phytic acid, again there is no guarantee of this result.

Contains Saponified Tallow and Castor Oil, Organic Turmeric, Organic Lemon Peel Powder and Lavender Essential Oil, Sea Salt.

Scent: Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia) essential oil is described as a balsamic woody undertone with a floral, herbaceous fresh scent. Over time, a subtle scent of  lemon accompanies the lavender. Other soaps with Lavender essential oil can be found here. 

Color: Mustard brown with darker colored specks from ground turmeric. May fade to a beautiful tan during use.
